SoundCorps was established in 2015 and is dedicated to growing the music ecosystem in the Chattanooga region. We advocate for and support the well-being of musicians and industry workers, we create opportunities for live performances, and we help everyday people fall in love with music in Chattanooga.

Success for us means Chattanooga has more musicians, music venues, recording studios, record labels, record stores, retail outlets, music lovers, and more.

Soundcorps in 2026

Music in Chattanooga is evolving, and so are we.

In 2025, we asked the music community what they wanted to see from us. Based on that feedback, 2026 has a lot of exciting programs kicking off in the first quarter. An overview of what’s to come:

  • A new improved musician directory

  • Monthly musician grant program

  • All Ages shows partnering with Ray’s

  • Digital marketing classes and support for musicians

  • Musician videography program

  • And more!

Sidewalk Stages

SoundCorps brought together over 150 musicians to provide performances across town. Some have gone on to make albums, win music awards, and have even been considered for Grammy’s.

Our 2025 spring and summer season with a massive success thanks to generous funding from ArtsBuild.

Craftmasters

SoundCorps developed an eight-week music industry course designed to help you take your music industry idea from dream to reality. You can expect to hone your brand, know your audience, delve into contracts, understand your budget, and much more to become a master of your craft.

Road To Nightfall

Beginning in 2011, the Road To Nightfall has grown into one of Chattanooga’s staple locals-only music series, allowing one band the opportunity to headline Nightfall, a free downtown concert series that has taken place in the heart of Chattanooga for 37 years!

Chattanooga Hip-Hop Week

SoundCorps is a proud partner in this week-long summit, offering workshops and panels on entrepreneurship and business development, highlighting success stories of hip hop-related businesses, connecting artists with potential investors and mentors, while using the summit as a platform to promote Tennessee's overall business climate.
